Lunch – Grab a world famous Fayetteville Slawburger

There’s more than one place to enjoy our unique slaw loaded burgers of goodness. Honey’s Restaurant, the one that started it all, and Fix'ns are both downtown eateries with Slawburgers on the menu. A few blocks away is Ken’s – where Slawburgers are his specialty.

Afternoon - Prichard’s Distillery

Fayetteville is one of the few places in Tennessee with two distilleries on the Tennessee Whiskey Trail. Located in a historic school house Prichard’s provides a distilling story not found anywhere else in the state.

Fayetteville Antique Crawl

If it’s antiques you seek, then you can make a day of it just in downtown Fayetteville. A part of the Tennessee Antique Trail, Fayetteville antiques cover the gamut of hidden finds big or small. Leave room in your car for the goodies you’ll find on your day trip to Fayetteville.

Looking for the location of the antique shops. Download our Downtown Map for locations.

Take a break from your treasure hunting to eat at another unique establishment – Cahoot’s!  Lunch or dinner will give you an opportunity to eat in a former jail. In fact, a few tables are located in jail cells. Just ask your server to throw the book at you and you’ll be seated for hard time. No worries, this is no prison slop, it is quite tasty and worthy of a repeat visit.

Tennessee Whiskey Run

Over 300,000 people visit the world famous Jack Daniel's Distillery each year. Since the distillery is only a short 17 miles away, this trip plan allows you to make a day of it while getting in some charming downtown shopping and dining.

Morning arrival Jack Daniel's Distillery

The world famous Jack Daniel Distillery is the signature distillery of the Tennessee Whiskey Trail. Depending on your tour, the experience should take 1 to 3 hours. Plenty of time to make a drive back to Fayetteville for lunch.

Lunch – take your pick of local eateries

Take your pick of cafes, diners or grills. The Whiskey Creek Grille is nearly impossible to miss just before downtown as you drive back from Lynchburg.

Shopping

Downtown Fayetteville is filled with gift shops, specialty shops and of course antiques. Each one is unique and more than likely you’ll learn a little about the charm of Fayetteville from the people that make it tick.
