Board of Zoning Appeals

The Board of Zoning Appeals is charged with hearing variance, special exception and appeal requests.  BZA only meets as needed. Once an appeal is requested, the meeting is advertised in the Elk Valley Times fourteen days prior to the meeting. The meetings are held in the small conference room of the Municipal Building.

The members serve 3 year terms, and are appointed by the Mayor and approved by the Aldermen (Section 14-806 of Zoning Ordinance).
