Deputy Governor Jim Henry, Representative Pat Marsh, Senator Shane Reeves, and TDEC (Tennessee Department of Environment & Conservation) Director Gerald Parish present $500,000 TDEC Local Parks & Recreation Fund (LPRF) grant to Fayetteville, TN. The City of Fayetteville will match the grant at the same level for a total project cost of $1,000,000 for land acquisition and to begin developing a soccer complex. Phase I of the project will include the construction of one soccer field, grading for a future soccer field, a gravel parking lot, and paved walkways for ADA access, paved ADA parking spaces, a paved restroom pad for portable restroom facilities, and necessary site work including landscaping, fencing, and entry signage.
